FIRE BRIGADE ATTEND FAULTY HEATER FIRE IN PRESTBURY
Firefighters from Macclesfield were called to Shirleys Drive, Prestbury at 1.30pm on Monday, where the two crews found a fire in the conservatory of a mid-terrace two-storey house.
It appears that the fire had started after a portable heater malfunctioned. The heater was removed from the house and an industrial fan used to disperse the extensive smoke.
Paramedics gave the female occupant oxygen as she had suffered smoke inhalation.
