HELLO, GOODBYE FOR THE SILKMEN

As Ahodikpe arrives . . .

Blue Square Bet Premier new boys Macclesfield Town have complete the signing of experienced Togolese midfielder Euloge Ahodikpe.

The 29-year-old, who has been capped 12 times for Togo, joins Steve King`s side from French second division outfit US Creteil-Lusitanos.

The Paris-born midfielder started his career at US Creteil-Lusitanos and has since donned the colours of Amiens Sporting Club, Hungarian sides Lombard Papa FC and Diosgyor VTK.

Ahodikpe also plied his trade in Turkey, turning out for Superlig club DiyarbakirSpor before returning to US Creteil-Lusitanos for the 2011/12 campaign.

He made his debut for the Togo national team in 2008 but holds dual nationality due to the fact that he was born in Paris.

Midfielder Ross Draper has opted to leave the Silkmen to join SPL side Inverness Caley Thistle, it was confirmed on Friday.

The Silkmen signed the popular midfielder from Hednesford inthe summer of 2009 and went on to make over 100 appearances for the Silkmen in all competitions, scoring 10 goals, including the goal of the season contender against Hereford last season where he found the back of the net from only a few feet into the Hereford half.
