Bollington Bikefest 2014

Riders from all over Cheshire and beyond are expected at the Bollington Bikefest starting at the Adelphi Mill Grimshaw Lane Bollington on Sunday 7 September from 8.00am.

There are rides for all ages and abilities from the 12 mile trip down the Middlewood Way ideal for families to the 40 miles across the Cheshire Plains and the 75 miles over the hills and back.

Last year over 270 riders took part and helped to raise £5,000 for good causes including East Cheshire Hospice and Prostate Cancer. We are expecting more riders this year.

Barbeque and refreshments and a bar will be available for hungry and thirsty riders and spectators.

It’s an opportunity to ride through our glorious countryside possibly with family and friends, to keep fit and to meet other riders.

Jointly organised by Macclesfield Lions, Girl Guiding Cheshire Border, Adelphi Mill Properties and Bollington Town Council.

Thanks again to the Bollington Co-op store who sponsor the riders’ food and drink and their continuing support for this charity event.
