Three Peaks walk for Francis House Hospice

Fancy a walk in the sensational countryside around our town – supporting a very worthwhile charity?

Organisers are inviting participants on one of two walks around the beautiful Macclesfield Forest – in aid of Francis House Children’s Hospice!

You’ll enjoy a 13.75 mile circular walk around Macclesfield Forest, taking in the famous Three Peaks of Cheshire – Tegg’s Nose, Shutlingsloe and Shining Tor.

Starting from the Car Park at Tegg’s Nose Visitor Centre, the walk will take in the Peaks via Trentabank, The Cat and Fiddle and Lamaload Reservoir.

If you prefer a gentler walk, there’s a gentler 6.4 mile challenge – which is ideal for families,. This walk will follow the same route as the longer walk for the first 3 miles to Trentabank before returning to Tegg’s Nose through the Forest itself and finishing back at the starting point, Tegg’s Nose Visitor Centre.
