Police appeal for witnesses to Hurdsfield shop break-in

Police are appealing for witnesses following a break-in at the Co-op store on Hurdsfield Road.

Shortly after 3am on 26 August 2015 three men forced open the front door of the premises and lifted the internal shutters. The men then entered the store and removed a large quantity of cigarettes.

Two offenders were dressed in light coloured tracksuits, one had his hood up, and the third was wearing dark coloured clothing. All three had scarves covering their faces and wore black gloves.

They were seen to leave in the royal blue Volkswagen Golf in the direction of Silk Road, Macclesfield.
