Driver dies in Gawsworth collision – police appeal for witnesses
Officers from Cheshire Roads Policing team are appealing for information following a fatal collision in Gawsworth, near Macclesfield.
The collision on the A536 Congleton Road was reported to officers at approximately 7.45am today, Thursday 1 October, and involved a blue Ford Focus and a bus.
Sadly the driver of the car, a 34-year-old woman from Sandbach, died at the scene.
Anyone with information can contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 156 of 1 October 2015.
