Police seek Reginald Corbett

Cheshire Police officers are appealing to members of the public to help trace the whereabouts of a man they would like to speak to in connection to a sexual assault.

Reginald Corbett, 32, of Herbert Street, Congleton, is wanted in relation to an incident in Congleton that that was reported to officers on 13 December 2016.

Corbett is described as a white, approximately 5ft 7 inches tall, of heavy build, with short brown hair and green eyes.

Detective Inspector Alison Ross, from Crewe Local Policing Unit, said: “We are currently in the process of conducting an investigation in relation to a serious sexual assault and as part of this investigation it is vital that we speak to Corbett.

“Corbett currently resides in the Congleton area, but is also known to have links to Crewe, Winsford and also has family in Ireland.

“I’d like to appeal to appeal to anyone who believes that they know the whereabouts of Corbett to contact the team here at Crewe.”

Anyone who sees Corbett is advised not to approach him, but instead contact officers immediately on 999 quoting incident number 511of 13/12/2016. Alternatively information can be reported anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
