Appeal for witnesses following Handforth robbery

Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery of a delivery driver on Campden Way at the junction of Grangeway in Handforth.

On Wednesday, December 28, at around 4pm, three men are believed to have approached the victim while driving a blue Nissan van to ask for directions. On returning to his delivery van, two men from the Nissan van approached him and while taking hold of him they stole the keys to the vehicle and drove away.

The van was later seen by officers abandoned at Heald Green train station.

The driver of the blue Nissan is described as being white, of a slim build and aged in his 20’s. He was wearing a black t-shirt and a black winter style hat.

The other man is described as being white, around 5”8 in height with a normal build and aged in his 20’s. He was wearing a white/grey hooded jumper with the hood up.

The third man was also wearing a hat.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 508 of 28 December.
