Dropping into the Indoor Market today – we discovered what could prove to be the food find of the year.

Chef Philippe Delecour has brought a touch of haute cuisine to Macclesfield Indoor Market with the opening of his food bar – Franglais.

Franglais will be open throughout the day serving a range of freshly made, meats, vegetables, plus tasty French delicacies such as croque-monsieur and tarte Alsace.

He told me “come back in 15 minutes and the Moules marinieres will be ready”.

I did, they were and I enjoyed – in fact they were sensational.
