Now in its second year, the RHS Chatsworth Flower Show is set to host a range of exciting new exhibits, including a showstopping installation of over 100 varieties of orchid and a floral river display of 12,000 Cosmos. In partnership with Wedgwood, this year’s Show is guaranteed to be a unique experience that will satisfy the most inquisitive of minds.

In addition to celebrity floral designer Jonathan Moseley’s orchid extravaganza, this year the Show will also play host to a virtual reality experience created by 3D expert Simon Mabey, in partnership with Manchester University and Manchester Museum. For the first time in RHS history, there will also be a mass planting of over 12,000 Cosmos – creating a striking pink “river” in front of Chatsworth House.

Visitors can also learn about the changing role of flowers in cities and urban environments through a new Living Laboratory display, which will invite discussion on the future of gardening.

Local history is the inspiration behind some of the installations at this year’s show, with horticultural homages to the ‘lost’ village that once stood on Chatsworth Estate, and to the art of dry-stone walling on display.

There will also be an array of regional foods and crafts on offer, as well as pop-up events and Q&A sessions in the Artisan Craft Area, Floral Marquees and Garden & Artisan Kitchen Theatres.
