Appeal for information following fatal collision in Arclid

Officers from Cheshire Police are appealing for information following a fatal collision in Arclid.

The incident, involving a silver Opel Astra and a white Vauxhall Mokka, occurred at approximately 2.15 am on Monday 8 October on Congleton Road.

A passenger from the Astra, a 29-year-old man from Romania, sustained fatal injuries and passed away at the scene. Sadly, the driver of the vehicle, a 31-year-old man from Romania, has also since passed away.

The driver and passenger from the Mokka were also injured. The two women, age 36 and 41 from Macclesfield, are both recovering at home.

Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who believes they have any dashcam footage of the incident.
