Barnaby Festival 2020 Open Programming: update

The first open programming session in March was a great success, producing lots of ideas for themes and content which respond to the organisers 2020 theme of VISION.

To build on the energy of this session, further opportunities are planned to explore different art forms in more detail. Sessions are open to everyone, and you can come to one or all – just bring your ideas to collaborate on the programme. Unless otherwise notified, the sessions will be held in the upstairs room of the Park Lane Tavern, Macclesfield.

  • Monday 29th April, 7-9pm: Performance, incl. music, drama, dance and comedy
  • Monday 13th May, 7-9pm: Visual art, installation/ site specific, street art, film, photography and sound art
  • Monday 3rd June, 7-9pm: Talking, walking and food, incl. debate, literature, games, outdoor activities and virtual reality

If you want to be involved but can’t make these dates, don’t worry – there’ll be plenty more ways to contribute your visionary ideas. And if there’s someone you think would be interested who doesn’t get these emails, please invite them to sign up for our newsletter here.
