Appeal following Congleton collision

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a road traffic collision in Congleton.  

At around 3 pm on Saturday 22 June a van and a cyclist collided on the A54 Buxton Road close to Tall Ash Avenue. 

The cyclist, aged 57, was taken to hospital suffering with serious facial injuries.

PC Jenny Knapman said: “Enquiries in relation to the collision are ongoing and as part of my investigation I want to speak to anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed what happened. I am also appealing for anyone who may have any dashcam footage to get in touch.”
