Barnaby Festival will be presenting a programme of online commissions on the traditional Barnaby dates of June 20 & June 21.
These commissions interpret the theme of Vision in their own unique way. In the months ahead, the Festival will continue with a digital programme of learning and participation and a new visual arts project. Barnaby Festival also hopes to deliver further activities and events that have been postponed from this summer, due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Dates for this will be announced in the future.

Disco In Furlough 4pm – 5pm Barnaby Festival is delighted to be partnering with the Silent Adventures UK team for their unique Disco InFurloughs, which will celebrate our Vision theme with a playlist of specially selected music. The aim is to get you off that sofa and showing off your unique repertoire of dance moves, with the addition of family-friendly games and classic banter. The discos will be held online so you can boogie from the comfort of your own home whilst joining others, creating a party atmosphere. https://barnabyfestival.org.uk/silent-disco/

Funny Vision with Marc Jackson ,11am – 11.45am and then 2pm- 2.45pm
Comic artist Marc Jackson will be hosting two live online cartoon drawing sessions ‘Funny Vision’ where he’ll be showing participants young and old how to create a crazy character of the future, then taking that character and having fun creating the world they live in! Being able to still connect with the audience online, as we all work together, will be great and seems fitting as we create the future!
For Father’s Day, Silent Adventures UK will be encouraging the Dad’s to get involved in this edition of Disco In Furlough. Following on from the success of Barnaby Festival’s Dad Dancing competition in 2018 we will be looking to the Dad’s of Macclesfield to shake their booty for this family friendly session. https://barnabyfestival.org.uk/silent-disco/
