Andy Worth salutes Silkmen ‘superstar’
Macclesfield Town supporters united with the Club’s office staff yesterday to pay their final respects to lifelong fan Alan Boothby.
Alan’s funeral cortege poignantly made its way around the Moss Rose, before pausing outside the McIlroy Suite to the applause of all those in attendance.
Following on from this, Silkmen Supporters Trust Chairman Andy Worth was eager to say a few words in tribute to a man who will always be regarded as one of our own.
