Postponed in 2020 due to the Pandemic, the Bikeathon is back, as good as ever.

Macclesfield Town Council are supporting local company Allgood Cycling (allgoodcycling.co.uk) with the organisation of this years Bikeathon.  All proceeds will go to Just Drop In (justdropin.co.uk), a service offering support and help to young people in the area aged 12-25.

The Bikeathon takes place on the 23rd October 2021, and will start from Market Place in Macclesfield.    There are different routes depending on ability and everything is signposted to ensure you don’t get lost.  With feed stations along the way, and finishers pack when you return to the Market Place it’s a great way to spend a day.

12 Mile Family Ride – £25 per family (max 2 adults and 2 children)

33 Mile Cheshire Plains Ride – £25 per person

64 Mile Cheshire Plains Ride – £25 per person

Remember all proceeds from the Bikeathon go to Just Drop In!

The start and finish point in Market Place will be complimented by a selection of stalls so that non-riders or supporting family members can grab a drink while they wait for riders to return.  With food stalls, stationary bikes that blend juice, face painting, Dr Bike will be on hand to help answer any queries on bike maintenance issues, information about Just Drop In and their services, maybe the odd giveaway, there is plenty to do and see.

To sign up, follow on social media to be directed to the registration website.  Entries close 16th October
