I went to the launch of the latest plan for the regeneration of Macclesfield this morning.

The presentation started with an admission by the designers - Wilson Bowden - that their original plans were wrong, and failed to adequately address the needs of our town.

That really filled us with confidence - after all they spent a couple of years telling us how right it was.
