NEW STRIKER FOR SILKMEN
Macclesfield Town have signed striker Ben Tomlinson from Evo-Stik Premier League side Worksop Town for an undisclosed five-figure fee.
The 21-year-old arrives at the club on the same day that striker Tyrone Barnett left to join Crawley Town.
The forward began his career at Rotherham before joining Worksop in 2008 and last season scored 29 goals in all competitions.
He is the club`s third signing of the summer after Scott Kay and Jon Bateson.
