IS THE TIME RIGHT FOR TOWN CENTRE REGENERATION?
Anyone with an interest in the proposed regeneration plans (of Bowden Wilson) for Macclesfield town centre would be advised to take a look at: http://www.thisishampshire.net/news/8634692.Waterfront_plans_under_spotlight/.

This item relates to a Bowden Wilson redevelopment project Ocean Village in Southampton which they abandoned mid way owing to a lack of interest.

After 18 months of inaction, the local MP John Denham was forced to lead a delegation of residents and traders to the city council to highlight concerns about the impact of the abandoned Admirals Quay development. Businesses were worried that the unattractiveness of the unfinished project and dangerous hoardings were contributing to a drop-off in their trade.
