WAKE UP MACCLESFIELD FREEDOM OF INFORMATION UPDATE

Wake up Macclesfield have posted updated information relating to their Freedom of Information request regarding the Macclesfield Town Centre redevelopment scheme:

1. Contract details revealed

Our Freedom of Information request eventually went to a Tribunal where it was ruled that Cheshire East could keep some information confidential. In the process, however, the council did gradually reveal rather more of the contract than they had done originally. So, although we still don`t know – among other things – the deadline date by which construction must start, we do have some idea of what the schedule might be together with details on financial and other arrangements.
