DEATH OF JIM GENDERS
Jim Genders, a well known and much loved local police officer for many years has died.
Jim spent 30 years in the Macclesfield police and whether he was walking the beat or making visits to community groups such as the scouts and guides, he was a part of the fabric of the town.
He played for many years with Cheshire Constabulary Band before joining Bollington Brass Band.
Jim`s funeral will be held at St Michael`s Church on Monday 9th January at 1.30 pm.
