LEISURE CENTRE TO BE TAKEN OVER BY CHARITABLE TRUST
Cheshire East Council is considering creating a charitable trust to take over the running of leisure services across the Borough.
The Council currently manage all their leisure facilities, but are looking to save the cost of running fifteen leisure centres, including Macclesfield Leisure Centre.
It`s looking increasingly likely that the centre will be transferred to a trust
