Live web chat with your Police Commissioner

On Monday 11 August, Police & Crime Commissioner for Cheshire John Dwyer is holding a live web chat, inviting members of the public to ask him questions. The web chat will focus around the Commissioner’s ‘Community Remedy’ consultation, wanting to know your thoughts on ways to deal with low level crimes and anti-social behaviour.John Dwyer said “I enjoy talking to members of the public, whether that’s face to face, on the phone or through digital media channels. I’m interested to see if anyone wants to elaborate on any thoughts they’ve had regarding suitable punishments for offenders committing low level crime, or whether someone has thought of an alternative punishment which isn’t listed in the consultation.

“Although this web chat is focussing on the Community Remedy Consultation, I would encourage anyone who has a question, no matter what it relates to, to ask me.”

The Commissioner is inviting your questions through Twitter using the #askJohn, via email: police.crime.commissioner@cheshire.pnn.police.uk, Facebook www.facebook.com/cheshirepcc or by calling 01606 364000.

The web chat will run from 6pm till 7pm.
