Appeal for witnesses following robbery in Wilmslow

Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery on Lacey Green in Wilmslow.

The incident occurred at around 10.50pm on Wednesday 29 July near to the railway bridge when two men have run up behind 3 teenagers who were walking home from the direction of the Twinnies Rd shops.

Two of the youths have managed to get away but the offenders have grabbed a 15 year old and demanded his phone and money whilst threatening him.  He co-operated with the men who then grabbed his ruck sack from his back before making off.

The offenders were wearing black balaclavas or face coverings, dark clothing and are both believed to be over 6 foot tall.  The ruck sack is described as blue and black.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the attack or who might have any information which would help them with the investigation to call 101 quoting incident number 987 of 29/7/15.  Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
