Appeal following Macclesfield burglary and car theft

Officers from Cheshire Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Macclesfield.

The incident is believed to have taken place sometime between 4.30pm and 6.15pm on Sunday 3rd January at an address on Byrons Lane, Macclesfield. 

The offenders appear to have broken into the address via a side entrance and once inside they have conducted an untidy search and stole a number of items, including a blue iPhone 5c.

The offenders also stole a white Kia Sportage which had been parked on the driveway of the address.

Investigating Officer Phil Macey said: “I’m keen to hear from anyone who was in the local area at the time of this incident and believes that they may have seen anything suspicion.

“I also like to speak to anyone who believes that they may have seen the stolen white Kia Sportage.”
