Buxton Big Session music festival

This year’s Big Session music festival in Buxton will include a dedicated beer festival for the first time.

The folk music event at the town’s spectacular Opera House and Pavilion Arts Centre sold out in 2015 and returns for an extended spell this year across three nights from Friday 29 April to Sunday 1 May.

Liverpool Organic Brewery’s beer hall in the Pavilion Gardens Marquee will offer more than 150 real ales and ciders from microbreweries across the UK, along with a showcase of Liverpool Organic Brewery beers on hand-pump. There will also be a gin bar hosted by the award-winning Liverpool Gin, as well as a selection of wines and continental bottled beers.

Tickets to the beer festival cost £5 for afternoon sessions (12pm – 4.30pm) and £8 for evening sessions (6pm – 12.30am) and include a souvenir glass, full colour programme and all entertainment during the session. Beer tokens will be available to purchase upon arrival.
