Macclesfield Beer Festival will roll out the barrels next month

The 22nd Macclesfield Beer Festival will take place next month on May 6 and 7.

The event, which has raised over £200,000 for charity, will take place at Macclesfield Rugby Club.

Around 4,000 people attended last year’s event – sinking around 14,000 pints.

This year’s chosen charity is the Park Lane School – for children with learning and physical difficulties. All money raised will go towards the construction of an all-weather play area.

Tickets are £10 for each of the two evening sessions, which start at 7pm. The Saturday day time session for families is free.
