Aviation and Transport Show

Sunday 18th September 2016 sees the inaugural Aviation and Transport Show.

The Hooton Park Hangars event opens to the public at 10-00 am and will run until 5-00 pm with last admission at 4-00pm. Entry is free for those under 14 and £4 for all others.

Parking is adjacent to Hooton Park, (follow signs for event parking) and a fleet of Vintage Buses will be operating a Park and Ride service to the main entrance gate.

In addition to being able to access the historic World War One Hangars and buildings there will be a significant number of exhibits in and around the hangars, these currently include:

Aircraft, Cockpit sections and running aero engines.

At present the following cockpit sections have confirmed attendance; Tornado GR1 & F3,2 Nr Jet Provost, Harrier, Sioux, Hunter, Venom, Sea Hawk and Avro Anson.

Aero Engines, V1 Rocket, Vintage Buses & Trucks, Military Vehicles, Singer Le Mans, 1960 Bedford Ambulance, Microlights, Large Scale Model Aircraft

Classic Cars and Bikes, including Jaguar Owners Club, MG Owners Club, American cars, BM Riders Club and Honda Gold Wings NW

Militaria and Transport Boot Sale

Second Hand Book Stall presented by Liscard Book Exchange

Vintage machine and hand tools presented by Ian Hough

The Pochin Show Wagon featuring a 1929 Gardner 3J5 Two Stroke Reversible Marine Engine

Bouncy Castle

Books/photos and memorabilia presented by Air Britain

Radio communication demonstration by Warrington Amateur Radio Club with a bespoke call sign for the day of GB2TAC.

Note: The organisers cannot guarantee the attendance of specific exhibits.
