Renewed appeal to trace Reginald Corbett

Police are renewing their appeal to trace a man they would like to speak to in relation to a sexual assault. 

Officers are looking to speak to Reginald Corbett, 32, regarding a sexual assault that occurred at an address in Congleton on Monday 13 December 2016.

Corbett, of Herbert Street, Congleton, is described as white, approximately 5ft 7 inches tall, of heavy build, with short brown hair and green eyes. As well as Congleton, Corbett is known to have links to the Crewe and Winsford areas and also has family Ireland.

Detective Inspector Alison Ross, from Crewe Local Policing Unit, said: “Corbett is known to have links throughout the mid and south Cheshire areas and at the current time we believe that that he remains in the county.

“It’s imperative that we speak to him as part of this investigation and I would urge anyone who knows the whereabouts of Corbett to get in touch with the team here at Crewe. I’d also like to appeal directly to Corbett and ask him to come forward, the sooner we can speak to you the sooner we can progress with this investigation”.

Anyone who sees Corbett is advised not to approach him, but instead contact officers immediately on 999 quoting incident number 511 of 13/12/2016. Information can also be left anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
