Serious collision closes M6

The M6 in Cheshire is currently closed northbound between J17 and J18 near Sandbach, following a serious collision.

The Highways Agency said the road will remain closed while emergency services are assisted at the accident scene.

Road users are advised to plan ahead, leaving plenty of extra travelling time and to consider alternative routes where possible.
