M6 closed
Following a collision between a petrol tanker and LGV between junctions 18 and 19 on the M6 earlier today the motorway remains closed in both directions.
Emergency services are on the scene owing to leakage from the vehicles and nearby cars are being evacuated as a precaution.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and find an alternative route if possible.
