Cheshire East contract referred to CPS
A police investigation into the awarding of a historical contract by Cheshire East Council has led to a file being submitted to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Councillor Rachel Bailey, leader of Cheshire East Council, said in a statement: “Cheshire police have informed us that the investigation into the historical awarding of a contract by Cheshire East Council has concluded and a file has been submitted to the Crown Prosecution Service.
