Mini driver flees Bonis Hall collision

The driver of a blue Mini fled after being involved in a collision with another vehicle on Bonis Hall Lane on Saturday night – August 31st.

Firefighters called to the scene found two cars had collided – with one of the drivers missing. It became apparent that no-one was trapped in any of the vehicles indicating that one of the drivers had fled the scene.

Firefighters assisted police to check the local area – using a thermal imaging camera – but they were unable to local him.

The missing driver of the blue Mini Cooper, is described as white, approximately 30 years old, of slim build, approximately 5′ 10″ with short hair and wearing jeans and a dark top.

The occupants of the second vehicle were checked by paramedics at the scene as a precautionary measure, but  didn’t require hospital treatment.

Police are now appealing for help to establish the identity of the man and the circumstances surrounding the collision.
