Macclesfield man assaulted in Warrington – MAN FOUND

Cheshire Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with a serious assault in Warrington town centre.

The incident occurred outside Reef Bar on Bridge Street at around 4.50am on Sunday 3 November. The victim, a 20-year-old man from Macclesfield, was subjected to a blind side attack and suffered a serious facial injury.

Following the unprovoked assault he was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.

Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers believe that the man in the CCTV image wearing the white Lacoste top may have vital information to aid their investigation. They are urging anyone who recognises him, or thinks they may know who he is, to get in touch.
