A new school minibus for Pott Shrigley

Pott Shrigley Church School took delivery of their new minibus this week.

The vehicle will enable pupils to attend a mixture of sporting and curriculum events in the area. 

Head teacher Joanne Bromley welcomed the arrival: “The old yellow bus was unreliable and led to a number of disappointments in recent weeks after it either wouldn’t start or couldn’t make it up the hill to Forest School!”

“I’m as excited as the children about the new bus as it enables us to expand our learning into the local area.”

“We’re enormously grateful for all those who’ve fundraised, donated, applied for grants to enable this significant purchase but also a big thanks to Poynton High School to who loaned us their minibus for key events during this interim period.”
