Bollington child kidnap – man charged
A man has been charged in connection with the kidnap of a child in Bollington.
Macclesfield man, Curtis Watson, 28-years-of-age, has been arrested on Water Street in Bollington and charged with kidnap.
The charge relates to a nine-year-old girl who was kidnapped on Palmerston Street, Bollington, on the afternoon of Friday 20 March. The child did not require hospital treatment and is now safe and well.
Watson has been remanded into custody and is set to appear at Crewe Magistrates Court on Monday 23 March.
