Energy Bill Support Scheme scam

It’s either taken the scammers a little longer than usual or my efforts to tighten up access to my email accounts is paying off.

This one purports to offer £400 from the government Energy Bill Support Scheme.

Of course, if you fill in the form accompanying the message you will have given the scammers your full personal details and those of your credit card.

You don’t need to make a claim, payments will be issues either by your energy company or the Government.

Consign the message to your junk folder and alert any vulnerable friends or members of your family.

Keep safe this Christmas and don’t fall for this scam.
