Cheshire Police 6.4% precept increase approved
Out of a total of around 700,000 Cheshire council tax payers just 3,978 responded.
No increase – 958 (24%)
Up to 6.4% increase – 1737 (44%)
10.7% increase in line with inflation – 1283 (32%)
It’s shocking to note that just .008% of the total electorate in Cheshire took the trouble to register their wishes!
