If you’re a bingo fan take yourself to Bollington this Bank Holiday weekend.
The Spinners Arms, on Palmerston Street, is hosting a charity bingo afternoon on Saturday, May 3 raising badly needed funds for Macclesfield charities Space4Autism and Silklife Foodbank.
The ‘night’ will kick off at 4 pm – but avid players are encouraged to turn up early to secure a table.
Publican Adam Colebatch, who’s fundraised over £14,000 for the two charities in the past year, said: “We look forward to welcoming you at The Spinners Arms on May 3.
“It’s part of our Bank Holiday Weekend celebrations. There will be multiple rounds of bingo, and we will have a music bingo round in the middle, as well as traditional bingo."
Note: Bingo players should bring cash to pay for their sheets, and to donate to charity buckets.
Cheryl Simpson MBE, said: “The Spinners Arms has supported us since December 2016. In the past year alone, they have fundraised £10,066.83 for us. And there’s a pot for us at the bar.
“I love coming here as a patron and for Space4Autism. They are leading by example in hospitality, in supporting the charity field. Thank you to Adam and the team.”
