A number of items for the raffle and auction at the Queens Arms in Bosley this Friday were also donated.

Make it Macclesfield would like to thank Cheshire East Council for arranging licence at short notice, Treacle Market for the pitch and collecting opportunities, Canalside’s The Thread for their great support and attendance on the day, the Macclesfield Rotary Clubs for supplying buckets and many willing and much appreciated volunteers to shake them – also Sphere Print for supplying leaflets and the Silkmen Supporter’s Trust for supplying collection buckets.

MiMwould also like to express its thanks to Tesco, both in town and at Hibel Road for allowing the group, with no prior notice, to collect out of the rain in their stores. The management team and customer service staff at Hibel Road provided staff to man buckets when we changed “shift”, chocolates for the kids and regular tannoy announcements of why we were there.

MiM would also like to express its enormous thanks to everyone who donated so willingly to the cause.

The cash collected and raffle and auction prizes donated have already been passed on to the Bosley fund raising team.
