Bosley Fundraising Evening tonight

If you’re able, go along to the Northern Soul Fundraising Auction and Raffle night at the Queen’s Arms at Bosley – tonight Friday 31st July at 7 pm.

Funds are urgently needed for the those affected by the Bosley Wood Treatment tragedy where Four workers died, more than 50 employees lost their jobs, and several lost their homes.

One of those affected lost his mother, his home and his job.

More supplies and money are still badly needed for affected families – if you have anything suitable for an auction or raffle take them along to the Queen’s (or drop them off at the Macclesfield Express offices in the Market Place today).

The community has rallied round with a number of fundraising events already taken place – the Fundraising Day at The Harrington Arms at Bosley raised over £10,000 and the Gawsworth Jesters Motorcycle Club Ride-out raised over £1,000.

The Queen’s Arms are also organising a Family Fete for Saturday 8th August – from 12 – 5 pm.

There’s a Fundraising Gig at The Bate Hall on Saturday 8th August – featuring Cash 4 Chaos, Hedghogs, Low Orbit and Stone Cold Chilli Peppers.

If walking is your thing there’s a Sponsored Walk on Sunday 9th August from the Maskery, 6-8 Swan Bank, Congleton at 10.55 am to Macclesfield Town Hall https://www.facebook.com/events/1471886763128334/
