The Flower House blossoms at Arighi Bianchi

The Flower House Boutique has opened at Arighi Bianchi.

Their unique flower shop has expanded into the gift shop area at the front of the store, selling greetings cards and gifts, as well as fresh flowers, unusual plants and terrariums. Business is blooming, as co-owner, Bev Coghlan explains:

“We’ve been bowled over by the response to our expansion”, says Bev. “Customers have been so supportive of our new venture and at the recent Arighi Bianchi Home Edit event we were overwhelmed by the number of people who came through the door!”

Arighi Bianchi director, Nick Bianchi, agrees. “The Flower House is a fantastic addition to our store and offers the customer something really unique. Bev and Megan have worked hard to create a wonderful space where customers can browse and feel inspired, using furniture and accessories you can buy in store to showcase their flowers and plants. The feedback has been fantastic.”

Co-owner, Megan Palmer, says: “When Bev and I originally discussed the idea of a pop up shop at Arighi Bianchi, we had no idea it would take off in this way. The family have been incredibly supportive and what started out as a small concession in the café bar is now a fully-fledged shop and florists right at the front of the store. We couldn’t be happier with the way things have flourished.”

Bev and Megan took quite different roots into the business – Megan did a floristry apprenticeship straight from school, whereas Bev worked with flowers early on, then in marketing, before returning to floristry in 2012 after the birth of her daughter, Isabella. Together, they’ve used their joint talents in creativity and customer service to create a unique business at the heart of Macclesfield.

The Flower House offers both a local and nationwide delivery service for seasonal bouquets. For more information, please visit their Facebook page,Instagram account email
