Witnesses to Allostock collision sought

Cheshire Police officers investigating a serious collision in Allostock are appealing for information and footage from members of the public.

The collision near The Three Greyhounds Inn in Holmes Chapel Lane, Allostock, near Knutsford involved two red and black motorcycles and a silver Seat Ateca car and occurred by at around 12.45 pm on Sunday 25 August.

The rider of one of the motorcycles, a 20-year-old man from Allostock, was airlifted to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition. The other rider, a 19-year-old man from Holmes Chapel, was also taken to hospital. His condition is described as stable.

Cheshire Police want to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, has any information on the vehicles involved or dashcam footage which may aid the investigation.

Sergeant Nick Rogers, of Cheshire Constabulary’s Roads Policing Unit, said: “Two young men are currently in hospital as a result of the collision, one of whom is in a critical condition. We are determined to establish exactly what happened and I urge anyone who witnessed the incident or anything else that may help our investigation to contact the team here at the Roads Policing Unit. The same goes for anyone who believes they have dashcam footage that may be relevant to the investigation.”
