Macclesfield Literary & Philosophical Society
The next Macc Lit & Phil meeting is this evening Wednesday 15th January.
Entitled “Radical 19th Century Women and Egypt” Emma Anderson, Interim Director of Macclesfield Museums, shows how objects from the museums tell the lives and travels of passionate and multi-faceted English women, who in the second half of the 19th-century, played a leading role in the study of Ancient Egypt.
