NEW WASTE BIN SYSTEM FOR MACCLESFIELD
A new waste bin system, to cut costs and encourage recycling, will soon be wheeled out in Macclesfield.

The system will feature three bins - one for rubbish, another for garden waste and a silver bin for all dry recycling, including plastics.

Recycling and garden bins will be emptied one week and non-recyclable waste on the alternate week.

The bins will start to be delivered to households in Macclesfield, Knutsford, Wilmslow, Poynton, Alderley Edge and surrounding areas from September 12 with the service starting on October 3.
