SEARCH ON FOR THE VON TRAPPS

The search is on for talented youngsters to appear in a production of a family favourite.

The Evans Theatre in Wilmslow will be alive to The Sound of Music in November and preparations are already under way.

Alderley & Wilmslow Musical Theatre Company have secured the licence to perform this well-loved family musical and auditions are to be held to find the Von Trapp children.

If you think your children know their Do-Re-Mi from their Lonely Goatherd, the society wants to hear from you. Preliminary workshops will be held on Sunday 27th April and the closing date for applications is Friday 18th April.

Auditions will also be held to cast the adult roles of Maria, Captain Von Trapp and the nuns. These will be announced shortly.

The Sound of Music runs from Monday 3rd to Saturday 8th November. Performance times evenings 7.30pm. Saturday matinee 2.30pm. Tickets go on sale on 1st May 2014.
