HURDSFIELD RESIDENTS PETITION AGAINST PLANS FOR BUILDERS MERCHANT ON QUEEN`S AVENUE
A controversial planning application to erect a builder`s merchants in Hurdsfield will go before planning bosses tonight – Wednesday, November 2.
Almost a hundred Hurdsfield residents have signed a petition against the proposal to build the new business on Queen`s Avenue, saying the additional traffic will cause chaos for residents.
Ivan Craddock, a former engineer, is part of a committee set up to fight against the proposals. He said:
