ROBBIE FOWLER IN THE RUNNING FOR MACC MANAGER`S JOB
One of the candidates for the top job at Macclesfield Town FC is Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler.
The 38-year-old Liverpudlian has long been keen on a first job in management, now that his playing career appears to have come to an end.
According to BBC Sport Mr Fowler has already been interviewed by the Silkmen.
We understand that there are six candidates on the Macclesfield shortlist and that Chief executive Jon Harris will be making a decision next week.
