WILMSLOW COUNCIL SITE SOLD FOR HOUSING

A former council site in Wilmslow is being sold for housing.

The 1.9-acre plot off Chapel Lane, known as the Remenham buildings, is being sold by East Cheshire Engine of the North, an agency set up by the council to manage and develop the council`s land assets.

The council said the site, which has two buildings, could accommodate 45 houses.

The Manchester office of Colliers has been appointed to handle the sale. A guide price was not disclosed.
