A537 MONKS HEATH TO WHIRLEY LANE CLOSURE

The A537 Chelford Road in Nether Alderley will be closed this week to enable Cheshire East Highways to carry out surface dressing works.

The road will be closed from Monks Heath Crossroads/Congleton Road to Whirley Lane.

It is anticipated that the works will be carried out on Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd April 2014 between the hours of 09:30am and 3.30pm.

The alternative route during the works will be via; A537 Chelford Road, Chester Road, Cumberland Street, B5181 Churchill Way, A536 Park Lane, Congleton Road, Macclesfield Road, A34 Manchester Road and Congleton Road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times and where possible access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and residents vehicles where possible.
